FIND A COURSE IN AN AUSTRALIAN CITY

The first step in your journey is to find the course you want.  You can apply directly to the institution or you can make your life easier and apply via an Education agent.

 

FIND AN EDUCATION AGENT

Education Agents are the nominated representatives of institutions in your country. Agents help people with their decisions and applications for little or no charge. It is very likely that your institution has an agent in your city. You’ll find details on approved agents an institution works with on their website.  We recommend you use an Education Agent.  They have sent so many applications that they know exactly what, when and how to do things. You only need to collate your documents.

 

DOCUMENTATION

You will need to prepare supporting documentation (translated into English) to send with your application.

The documents vary depending on the course (eg. some require a portfolio or interview).

The most important documents include: CV, reference letters & certificates of previous studies, IELTS or TOEFL and study and work reference letters.

 

YOUR LETTER OF OFFER and COE

If your application is successful, you will receive a ‘Letter of Offer’. This sets out the course you will be enrolled in, any conditions & fees.  After you have accepted your offer and paid your deposit you will receive a ‘Confirmation of Enrolment’ (CoE).

Visa application

You can now apply for a visa (only AFTER you receive the CoE). You need to present your CoE with your visa application. Non degree courses.

 

FINDING A SUITABLE ROOM AUSTRALIA

You are now ready to start thinking in living and finding a cheap place in Australia.

You will also have a choice, when looking at the different options, to select places that include food, or all the amenities (gas, electricity and internet) and that are fully furnished. This is completely your choice (and obviously depends on your budget as well.
